Description: We have identified and resolved a problem with Forge app installation functionality, where most installations on Jira Cloud and Confluence Cloud were failing with the message "Error performing sync with Connect". This affected installations performed via any mechanism. Here is the timeline of the impact: - 2024-09-14 10:27 UTC: impact start - 2024-09-15 12:55 UTC: impact resolved for Jira app installation - 2024-09-15 13:19 UTC: impact resolved for Confluence app installation Impact has already been resolved. Developers or end users can retry any installations that previously failed, and they will now succeed.

Description: A change was rolled out to production 5 hours ago to mitigate a security risk which had the unintended consequence of disallowing apps from impersonating JSM Customers.
