    Status: Postmortem
    Update: **Root Cause Summary:** Customers which configured their sites to use CloudFlare CDN and DNS services had an outage because  CloudFlare had an outage in Australian region.
  • Time: March 11, 2021, 2:05 a.m.
    Status: Resolved
    Update: Customers have confirmed that search functionality is working as expected. No new alerts on this matter were triggered by the monitoring systems either. This issue is deemed resolved.
  • Time: March 11, 2021, 1:18 a.m.
    Status: Monitoring
    Update: Alerts have cleared for all indexes. Infrastructure staff on duty continues to monitor the service. The cause of the issue was identified as not caused by SLI but CloudFlare outage.
  • Time: March 11, 2021, 12:53 a.m.
    Status: Identified
    Update: Monitoring systems as well as customers alerted of several indexes related to AU-based customers were failing. Infrastructure staff on duty and L3 Support are working on reestablishing service. Alerts cleared for a large percentage of customers already.

    Status: Resolved
    Update: This incident has been resolved. The cause of the incident was identified as unexpected behaviour of AWS Load balancer which changed it's IP address. To prevent such incidents in the future, we have changed infrastructure configurations for this and all similar AWS Load balancers in SLI.

    Status: Investigating
    Update: We are currently investigating this issue.

  • Time: March 5, 2021, 7:56 a.m.
    Status: Resolved
    Update: The cause of the incident was identified as limitations in the compatibility between AWS Load Balancers and VMWare SDDC cluster networking. The issue is resolved now, SLI Tools is fully operational.

    Status: Investigating
    Update: We are currently investigating this issue.
