IOS Facebook Messenger Deeplinking Issue
Description: We’ve released a change to improve the end user experience by reducing the Deepview’s auto-fallback-redirect delay. As a result, if the link has a web URL set that is configured for App Links, the app will be opened by this mechanism very shortly after showing the Deepview. We will continue to investigate solutions to iterate and optimize the user experience.

As a result, deep linking functionality is impacted. We have reached out to Meta to identify the changes as well as exploring work arounds.

Time: July 19, 2024, 4:06 p.m.Status: MonitoringUpdate: Branch is not affected by the CrowdStrike software update. This update is causing widespread issues for many IT teams worldwide, particularly with Windows systems. While we may experience challenges in reaching and interacting with customers who use Microsoft services like Teams, all of Branch's backend services and systems remain unaffected. We are monitoring the situation closely and will reach out should anything change.
