    Update: **Failures logging into Delinea Platform tenants on Friday October 4th, 2024** ## Impact A subset of Delinea Platform customers within the EU data boundary experienced login failures when accessing their tenant. The issue affected only EU tenants configured with identity federation for user logins. Start of Impact \(UTC\): Oct 4, 2024, 9:14 AM End of Impact \(UTC\): Oct 4, 2024, 12:50 PM ## Incident Overview We apologize for the recent login issues affecting your tenant. Users with federated identities encountered an error message, "This page isn’t working," accompanied by "HTTP ERROR 500" message, preventing them from accessing their platform tenant. ## Root cause The outage was triggered by a bug in the latest audit release, causing contention in the messaging broker's queues. After identifying the issue, we rolled back the faulty release, reducing the load and stabilizing the system, allowing the federated login service to resume normal operations. ## Preventative Actions To prevent similar incidents in the future, we are taking the following steps: * Enhance monitoring with synthetic tests for end-to-end coverage. * Strengthen backend monitoring of the messaging broker. * Reassess messaging queue architecture to prevent resource contention. * Implement automated tests to improve the QA process for the Audit service release. Once again, we apologize for the disruption this caused and appreciate your patience as we work to improve our platform's reliability.

    Update: We are currently investigating Multi Factor Authentication failures on a subset of Privileged Access Service tenants. Due to this, some users are unable to login to their systems. Our investigation indicates that the installed connector certificate has expired and our proposed remedy requires impacted tenants to re-register the connector in order to update the stored certificates.     Update: Apple has completed restoration of our store account. Our mobile apps and Web Password Filler browser extension are available again for download from their respective iOS and Safari stores.

    Update: Apple has restored notification services on our app store account across all regions. App store listings for products are still unavailable but expected to be up within the next 24 hours. We are continuing to monitor MFA logins and push notifications and the app store listings for any disruptions.

    Update: We are continuing to reach out to Apple for a resolution to this issue. Affected customers can enter the Authenticator OTP code manually during login or step up MFA as a workaround until notification services are restored. From Delinea Authenticator: When prompted in your browser to approve the notification or manually enter the code to authenticate 1. Open Delinea Authenticator 2. Enter the code shown in the app for your tenant. From Delinea Mobile: When prompted in your browser to approve the notification or manually enter the code to authenticate 1. Open Delinea Mobile 2. Switch to the "Authenticator" tab at the bottom of the app screen 3. Enter the code shown at the top of the Authenticator screen

    Status: Identified
    Update: We are currently experiencing a complete outage for notifications sent to Delinea Mobile and Delina Authenticator on iOS devices. Android devices are not affected. We are in contact with Apple and working to resolve the issue as quickly as possible. This affects any login multifactor authentication or step-up authentication notification sent by Delinea Platform.
