    Update: We have identified an issue with an upstream data provider, beginning approximately 30 minutes ago. Real time and near term precipitation data is available but with degraded accuracy over the 0-3 hour time period. Our engineering and science teams are reviewing the issue to see if a workaround is available.

    Update: After monitoring we are confident that this incident is fully resolved.

    Update: We have released a fix and are seeing Historical API requests complete successfully once more. We are continuing to monitor to ensure a complete resolution, but all API routes should be operational at this time.

    Status: Investigating
    Update: We are investigating an issue with the api.tomorrow.io/historical API routes returning a 503 error response. The Timeline and Weather Forecast endpoints are not affected at this time. Our engineering team is engaged and reviewing.

    Status: Resolved
    Update: After monitoring, the tile generation is functioning as expected in all regions. This incident is resolved.
  • Time: Nov. 8, 2023, 6:04 p.m.
    Status: Monitoring
    Update: We have identified an issue that is occasionally impacting the generation of precipitation map tiles over the continental United States. There may be brief periods of 1-2 minutes where the precipitation tiles are not visible in the Weather Intelligence platform in this region. The issue is only impacting the generation of the precipitation tiles, the underlying precipitation data is not impacted, and alerts and insights are functioning as normal. Our science and engineering teams have released a fix which should resolve this behavior. We are monitoring closely and expect the issue to continue to improve and fully resolve over the next two hour period.

    Update: Precipitation over the western Pacific ocean is once again populating as expected in the API and weather intelligence platforms. We have been monitoring performance of the system for the last 30 minutes and see good stability, we will continue to monitor to ensure a complete resolution.

    Update: We released a fix which has partially restored real time precipitation for the affected area. We are continuing to investigate issues with degraded precipitation over the near future forecast time period over the western Pacific ocean.

    Update: We have identified an issue processing satellite precipitation data over the western Pacific ocean. Precipitation data in this region may be stale or have degraded quality. Locations in Australia and Japan are not impacted. Our science and engineering teams are actively reviewing the issue and working towards a resolution.

    Update: After monitoring we are confident precipitation world wide is functioning as expected and this incident is resolved.

    Update: A fix has been deployed. We are seeing real time and NowCast precipitation performing as expected in all regions. We are continuing to monitor to ensure a complete resolution for all areas.

    Update: We have identified an issue with radar precipitation data processing starting at approximately 17:00 UTC. New ground radar data covering areas in North and South America, Europe, Japan, Israel and Australia are not processing as expected and locations in these regions may have stale or degraded precipitation data displayed in the platform and the API. Alert performance for near term insights based on precipitation may also have degraded performance. Our science and engineering teams are reviewing with high priority.
