Updates:

  • Time: Dec. 8, 2021, 12:13 a.m.
    Status: Resolved
    Update: Our team has been monitoring this behavior and found that delays on ConexED have been reduced to only a few seconds for the users impacted. We have adjusted our status to reflect the improvement, and will continue to monitor this behavior. While AWS is continuing to address their data management issues, there may be a few moments where processing interruptions are seen. We will continue to watch for updates, and adjust our status if necessary.
  • Time: Dec. 7, 2021, 8:18 p.m.
    Status: Identified
    Update: We have seen that some schools in Eastern US are encountering delays while loading specific ConexED Pages (Student Support Directory, ConexED Cards, etc). These delays are being caused by shared resources from Canvas and AWS, who are experiencing delays of their own (status.instructure.com and https://status.aws.amazon.com/ ). This will be resolved when AWS returns to normal operations, but load times may be longer than normal until this can be addressed.

  • Time: Nov. 16, 2021, 6:22 p.m.
    Status: Resolved
    Update: We have confirmed that the Google services for Lobby and Chat have resumed operations, returning functionality to these tools. We will continue to monitor this behavior for any additional concerns.
  • Time: Nov. 16, 2021, 6:14 p.m.
    Status: Investigating
    Update: We are continuing to investigate this issue.
  • Time: Nov. 16, 2021, 6:13 p.m.
    Status: Investigating
    Update: Chat and Lobby functions are currently experiencing unusual behavior. Google has reported issues with technology we use to support the lobby and chat features. Our engineering team has made this our highest priority and they will continue to investigate possible workarounds. However this appears to be connected to an associated outage from the Google. We will update everyone once normal operation resumes.

  • Time: Oct. 21, 2021, 8:48 p.m.
    Status: Resolved
    Update: The source of this behavior has been identified and isolated. A resolution has been implemented, and we will continue to monitor server activity for any other unusual behavior. Please contact ConexED Support for any other reports involving webcam connections.
  • Time: Oct. 21, 2021, 6:43 p.m.
    Status: Investigating
    Update: We have seen intermittent reports of users unable to connect their webcam in ConexED Meetings and delays in Whiteboard load times. Our Engineering team have taken steps to limit this possibility, and working to resolve this disruption entirely. We will be correcting the situation as soon as possible.

  • Time: Sept. 30, 2021, 6:34 p.m.
    Status: Resolved
    Update: ConexED has been able to address the reported delays and 504 errors, and our engineering team will continue to monitor the situation for any changes. At this time operations have returned to normal, and we will continue working to prevent future disruptions. Please contact us if there are continued reports of this behavior.
  • Time: Sept. 30, 2021, 6:09 p.m.
    Status: Investigating
    Update: A few users are experiencing network interruptions with ConexED functionality. A few users have reported 504 error messages, and slowness site wide. Our engineering team has made this our highest priority and we expect to have the issues resolved quickly.

  • Time: Aug. 31, 2021, 6:52 p.m.
    Status: Resolved
    Update: Interruptions are related to reported AWS outages, and operations have resumed. We will continue to monitor the AWS Servers and work to prevent any additional disruptions caused by their system.
  • Time: Aug. 31, 2021, 6:30 p.m.
    Status: Investigating
    Update: There have been a few isolated error messages and reported slowness on the ConexED system. We are investigating this behavior and working to prevent further interruptions.
