    Update: On April 24th, 2024, Edcast engineers received alerts from internal monitoring tools indicating problems with content uploads for clients hosted in AWS environments EU PROD, US EAST, US WEST, and EU PREVIEW. Immediate investigation and troubleshooting by Edcast engineers identified the issue as related to third-party services. The problem was resolved by engaging the vendor and restoring the storage services. To prevent similar incidents in the future and minimize the risk of future impacts, Edcast is actively collaborating with the vendor responsible for the underlying storage to review the incident. Internal teams are working closely with our third-party vendors to thoroughly investigate the issue and create remediation plans to avoid recurrence.

    Update: The CSOD Technology Team observed an issue affecting Multiple Regions. The problem began on 23rd April 11.30 PM Pacific Time and was resolved on 24th April 5.00 AM Pacific Time. During this time, clients with portals in this region may have experienced issues accessing the uploaded media type content and the upload content functionality.

    Update: On April 22nd, 2024, Edcast engineers were alerted by internal monitoring tools about portal latency issues. Clients hosted in the US WEST region may have encountered application latency while accessing portals. Upon investigation, Edcast engineers identified higher-than-usual resource consumption at the database layer, attributed to long-running queries. These queries were thoroughly scrutinized and optimized to resolve the issue . In order to prevent similar incidents in the future and mitigate potential impacts, Edcast collaborated internally with the database team. A comprehensive investigation was conducted, and robust remediation plans were devised to prevent the recurrence of such incidents.

Clients in the EU and US regions may have encountered delays when accessing Sociative. Upon investigation, it was discovered that an optimization implementation was the root cause of the problem. The optimization that was implemented was investigated, fixed and rolled to resolved the issue. A comprehensive investigation was conducted, and remediation plans were developed to prevent similar incidents in the future.
