    Status: Resolved
    Update: Our reminders service has been restored to the previous version and is running as expected. EdSmart will provide a root cause analysis to affected schools.
  • Time: Jan. 19, 2021, 3:50 a.m.
    Status: Identified
    Update: We are aware of an issue with Reminder emails going out for past Slips for a subset of customers. This was due to deploying a new version of Reminders functionality. Our Engineering team has rolled back the service to the previous version and are working on fixing the root cause.

    Status: Resolved
    Update: Following a review of database analytics, we have deployed several optimisations and have been monitoring over the last few days. Database utilisation has returned to normal. If you encounter any further issues, please raise a Support Request at help.edsmart.com.

    Status: Investigating
    Update: Our Support and Engineering teams are aware of intermittent performance issues on EdSmart, due to a high demand on our database. We are monitoring the issue and taking measures to improve performance. In the meantime, if you are experiencing issues we encourage you to raise a support request with the following information: - Specific page(s) you are accessing that are particularly slow - Time of day you are experiencing issues We will make a note of the information and use it to help determine the root cause and apply appropriate fixes. We will keep you updated via status.edsmart.com on this issue.

    Status: Resolved
    Update: We have been monitoring the application and hosting platform and the intermittent performance degradations are no longer occurring. We will close this incident.
  • Time: May 7, 2020, 6:18 a.m.
    Status: Identified
    Update: Our engineering team has been in contact with Microsoft and Azure's support team has acknowledged infrastructure problems, resulting in short intermittent outages, and is updating us on remediation on a regular basis.
  • Time: May 7, 2020, 4:08 a.m.
    Status: Identified
    Update: We are experiencing performance degradations across the EdSmart platform. The issue is occurring at intervals for short durations manifesting in some users seeing error messages. It is also affecting tasks such as data exports. The issue has been traced to a database component and we are discussing with our web host to seek a resolution.

  • Time: Feb. 14, 2020, 2:21 a.m.
    Status: Resolved
    Update: Exports have been running smoothly since applying the fix on Wednesday afternoon and monitoring over the last two days. We are now marking this incident as Resolved.
  • Time: Feb. 12, 2020, 6:06 a.m.
    Status: Monitoring
    Update: We have applied an update to the Exports procedure and have observed significant improvements in processing time. We are continuing to monitor and will work to resolve any further issues if they arise.
  • Time: Feb. 7, 2020, 5:28 a.m.
    Status: Monitoring
    Update: Our Engineering team is aware of some delays with Exports that have emerged from a significant load increase with this year's back-to-school. We have spun up another resource to share this load and continue to look at ways to improve the efficiency. In the meantime, if you don't receive your Export within a few hours, please email [email protected] and we will manually process it for you.     Update: This incident has been resolved.
  • Time: March 18, 2019, 1 a.m.
    Status: Monitoring
    Update: We have received a few reports of EdSmart not loading or not rendering properly this morning. This was happening in our office as well. It appeared to be a Cloudflare caching issue. We have cleared the Cloudflare cache and restarted and it's working for us again. We are continuing to monitor the issue. If you are experiencing this issue, please clear your cache or browsing data and try again. If this is still an issue, you can contact support at [email protected].
