    Update: This issue has been resolved; you may now obtain free academic and free online course licenses from the Gurobi website.

    Update: We have found the failing code. We hope to have a fix implemented within 3 hours, if not sooner.

    Update: We continue to investigate, but regret that we do not have an ETA for a fix or a workaround yet.

    Update: Academic users are currently unable to obtain new licenses via the Gurobi website. We are currently investigating and hope to have an update within 60 minutes.

    Update: After observation, we believe the fix resolved the problem, so we are closing this issue.

    Update: A workaround is now in place that should greatly reduce the frequency of the situation, while we investigate a permanent fix.

    Update: There are intermittent issues affecting availability of Gurobi website accounts and Gurobi Cloud. We are fixing them as they occur, and expect to have a permanent fix in place within 90 minutes.

    Status: Postmortem
    Update: The database that manages Gurobi Cloud and logins had a deadlock condition that stalled all operations. We reset the deadlocked query, which restored all operations. Recently, we implemented several watches on the database that makes this easier. We will continue to refine these and train staff so that this can be resolved faster. In the long-term, we will investigate what causes the deadlock condition.

    Update: This incident has been resolved. All systems are operational again. We apologize for the inconvenience.

    Status: Investigating
    Update: We are currently experiencing login issues with our website. We are currently investigating the issue and will send an update as soon as we have more information.

    Status: Resolved
    Update: Approximately 16:22 UTC, the account system slowed down, causing problems for logins and access to Gurobi Cloud. Unfortunately, we did not receive notices from automated system monitoring systems, so we only addressed the problem when we were personally notified by users. We rebooted the servers. While we were unable to pinpoint the root cause, we repaired the notices from system monitoring, and we updated some configuration to improve future performance.
