    Status: Resolved
    Update: The applied mitigations have successfully resolved the issue. During the incident customers may have noticed Terraform Runs failing due to the increased latency: those can now be retried.
  • Time: July 17, 2024, 3:38 p.m.
    Status: Monitoring
    Update: Engineers have rolled back the problematic change, and have observed signs of recovery. We are currently monitoring the application to ensure a return to normal operation.
  • Time: July 17, 2024, 2:55 p.m.
    Status: Identified
    Update: Our Engineering team has identified and is currently attempting to mitigate a change that has increased latency on HCP Terraform. Customers are likely experiencing large increases in latency across Workspace and Run api endpoints.

    Status: Resolved
    Update: Our Engineering team has resolved the issue. These systems should now be operating normally. If you continue to experience any problems, please open a ticket with our support team.

    Status: Monitoring
    Update: Our Engineering team has implemented a fix to resolve the issue with new project creation. We are monitoring the situation closely and will post an update as soon as the issue is fully resolved.
  • Time: July 16, 2024, 2:07 p.m.
    Status: Investigating
    Update: Our engineering team is investigating an increase in errors when creating new projects in HCP Terraform. Customers may experience 500 errors when creating new projects. We will share another update as soon as we have more information.

    Status: Resolved
    Update: Azure cluster creation and update is now working normally once again. Please delete and re-create any clusters left in "failed" state after they failed to deploy, and retry any cluster updates that failed in the last 6 h 30 min.
  • Time: July 9, 2024, 7:36 p.m.
    Status: Monitoring
    Update: The credentials have been rotated, we are now monitoring the system to ensure everything is back to normal.
  • Time: July 9, 2024, 6:31 p.m.
    Status: Identified
    Update: We've identified the issue to be an expired credential and are looking into renewing it. Until then HVD cluster creation and updates on Azure will continue failing.
  • Time: July 9, 2024, 5:38 p.m.
    Status: Investigating
    Update: Our engineering team is investigating an issue with HCP Vault Dedicated. During this time, users may experience that creating HCP Vault Dedicated clusters on Azure as well as any attempted update. We will share another update as soon as we have more information.

    Status: Resolved
    Update: We have confirmed that service has resumed, and latency and performance has returned to normal levels.
  • Time: July 8, 2024, 7:26 a.m.
    Status: Monitoring
    Update: Engineering have identified the issue, and restarted the impacted service. We are currently monitoring and expect services to return to normal shortly.
  • Time: July 8, 2024, 6:47 a.m.
    Status: Investigating
    Update: HCP Boundary is currently experiencing increased latency with is resulting in partial outage for some customers. Engineers are aware and actively investigating the issue. Further updates will be posted as they are available.

    Status: Resolved
    Update: The engineering team has resolved the issue. Dynamic provider credentials should now be operating normally. If you continue to experience any issues, please open a ticket with our support team.

    Update: The engineers have made a change to the public signing key and have confirmed that dynamic provider credentials is working again. We will be monitoring this further to ensure the fix is successful for everyone.

    Update: The engineers have continued their investigation of the issue and have identified a change to the public signing key that occurred prior to the elevated error rates.
