Description: On Tuesday, 7/18/2023, from approximately 1:00 p.m. until Wednesday, 7/19/2023, at 8:00 p.m. \(UTC\), some users experienced delays with their KMSAT phishing campaigns, training campaigns, and training progress updates. This incident was caused by a backend update that increased the load on the database. As a result, some phishing campaigns, training campaigns, and training progress updates were delayed. Once we reduced the load, KMSAT was able to return to normal performance by Wednesday, 7/19/2023, at 8:00 p.m. \(UTC\). To prevent this type of issue in the future, we made updates to optimize our database processes. No data loss occurred as a result of this issue.

Description: On Tuesday, 6/13/2023, from approximately 6:58 p.m. to 9:45 p.m. \(UTC\), all of KnowBe4's products on the US instance experienced job processing delays. This incident was caused by a third-party service outage that affected multiple organizations in the eastern region of the United States. Once the third-party service was restored, KnowBe4's products were able to resume job processing by 9:45 p.m. \(UTC\) and return to normal performance by 10:40 p.m. \(UTC\). To help prevent similar issues, we will continue to improve our software and reduce recovery times after third-party outages. No data loss occurred as a result of this issue.

Description: On Thursday, 5/18/2023, from approximately 1:35 p.m. until 2:09 p.m. \(UTC\), some users experienced issues loading their KMSAT consoles. As a result, the queries were backed up and some pages were unable to load. Once we stopped the queries and completed the database update, KMSAT was able to return to normal performance by 2:09 p.m. \(UTC\). To prevent this type of issue in the future, we are adjusting our processes to better handle database updates during increased activity. No data loss occurred as a result of this issue.
