    Status: Resolved
    Update: As of 03:44 UTC, engineering resolved underlying DNS issue which caused this incident. On-going impact has been improving as DNS cache clears via normal TTL propagation or DNS flushing. As of 04:30 UTC, DNS resolution response was largely recovered globally and will continue to improve as remaining TTL's expire and refresh cache.

    Update: Starting at 00:15 UTC, the Dyn Managed DNS service began experiencing DNS resolution degradation and failures to load the Managed DNS portal. Impacted customers would observe DNS timeouts, SERVFAIL or latency during DNS resolution. Customers attempting to access the Managed DNS portal would observe NXDOMAIN or 5XX errors. Our engineers are actively engaged in fixing this incident. Additional impact: Customers attempting to send or accessing reporting via Dyn Email Delivery API or SMTP may also experience call failures that may work on retries related to DNS resolution failure. Customers with questions are encouraged to reach out to our Technical Support team.

    Status: Identified
    Update: The Dyn Email Delivery team has identified an issue where customers are failing to receive postbacks for bounced emails. Our engineers applied a fix, which partially mitigated the issue. We are continuing to perform mitigation actions to fully resolve the issue. Please contact Dyn Support if you have any questions.

    Update: Starting around 13:30 UTC on May 19th, 2022, our Dyn Managed DNS engineers began investigating missing agent logs affecting our Traffic Manager and Active Failover services. Customer impacted by this event may have experienced a failure to update records as configured during a monitored endpoint status change event. Engineers applied a fix around 16:40 UTC which corrected this issue on most accounts, though some customers may still be seeing partial logs. Engineering continue to investigate remaining impact and updates will be posted here as available. Customers with questions are encouraged to reach out to the Dyn Product Support team.

    Update: As of 11:30 UTC, this issue is resolved. Engineering is now closely monitoring performance and stability for the portal and API services.

    Update: On 19th May, beginning around 10:10 UTC, we began investigating intermittent unavailability impacting the Dyn Managed DNS portal and API. Impacted customers would have observed errors accessing the portal or making API calls, as well as change propagation delays. Our engineers are currently working to identify and fix the issue. Updates will be posted as available. Customers with questions are encouraged to reach out to our Technical Support Team.
