Description: **What Happened:** On June 29th, 2023 between 15:10 and 15:19 UTC we have observed intermittent issues processing Authorization requests for S3 file access. **Customer Impact:** Customer access requests might have timed out during this time period and would need to be re-tried. **Root Cause:** Very high volume of transactions in short time span beyond than current capacity of the system. **Immediate Actions Taken:** No immediate action needed to be taken. The system auto-recovered once request volume returned to the normal level. **Long term preventative measures taken:** * We have increased system capacity to better handle unexpected Authorization volumes. * We modified re-try logic for our client to accommodate slower response without impacting end user request. * Added additional monitoring and alerting to ensure full visibility into similar issues before they become apparent to end users and allow us better plan system capacity.
