    Update: Here is the final log we received on Amazon for Northern California Data Center: 5:28 PM PST We are investigating network connectivity issues in a single Availability Zone in the US-WEST-1 Region. 6:15 PM PST We continue to investigate network connectivity issues for instances and failures of newly launched instances in a single Availability Zone in the US-WEST-1 Region. 7:09 PM PST We have identified the root cause of the network connectivity issues for instances and failures of newly launched instances in a single Availability Zone in the US-WEST-1 Region. Connectivity to some instances has been restored and we continue to work on the remaining instances. 8:10 PM PST Between 4:52 PM and 7:49 PM PST we experienced network connectivity issues for instances and failures of newly launched instances in a single Availability Zone in the US-WEST-1 Region. The issue has been resolved and the service is operating normally. We are having a meeting today with our Amazon AWS representative to discuss the cause for this problem, and how we can best avoid being impact by such an outage in the future.

    Update: Confirmed all systems fully operational. No new customer reports of issues since initial incident.

    Update: Chat connections seem to be resuming at full capacity now. The degraded performance took place between 2:18pm PST and 2:28pm PST. If you were not interacting with your Ryver client during that window, you may return to find a 502 Bad Gateway error message. You should be able to dismiss that and continue.

    Update: We got an alert from Amazon AWS of a brief "unhealthy host" in our Elastic Load Balancer. It was switched out immediately, but caused a spike in data access errors. We are monitoring for any further issues.

    Status: Investigating
    Update: Some customers who had their Ryver client open at 3:20am PST may have gotten a "502 Gateway Timeout" error message. If you left your computer on with Ryver running overnight, you might discover this error message upon returning to your computer. There appears to have been a very brief communication problem between two Ryver servers, just long enough to cause this error to be raised, but not causing any significant down time of the application. We are investigating the source of the problem.
