Description: Users of the ServiceCore web app are experiencing issues logging in, or accessing some parts of the web app, or in some cases attempts are successful followed by subsequent attempts that are failing. The cause was due to a configuration change within the API that serves the ServiceCore service. This change resulted in some of the API server instances to have inconsistent 'proxy' configurations written to disk and thus requests that were related to permissions/ACLs would immediately fail. This was identified within the first 15 minutes of the issue and the software change was rolled back in the next 10 minutes. The product and engineering teams are performing a permanent fix and also a preventive measure in place for future updates to the product.
