    Update: Facebook has reported that this issue has been resolved. Please do note that the impacted users would have to start a message with your pages again before you are able to send them messages.

    Update: Facebook has reported that they are still experiencing this issue, despite their fix. They are investigating how to resolve the issue and will update as soon as they have more information.

    Update: Facebook reported that they have pushed a fix for this current issue when a new customer sends you a message for the first time, you are unable to respond to that customer. We continue to monitor the status.

    Update: Facebook is currently investigating an issue when responding to users. The issue causes Sparkcentral to be unable to respond to users with whom you have not yet been in contact with. Users that you have had contact with before will still be able to receive your messages.   • Time: Nov. 25, 2020, 11:05 p.m.
    Status: Resolved
    Update: The AWS team has resolved this incident, and reported the following: Between 5:15 AM and 2:28 PM PST customers experienced increased API failure rates for Cognito User Pools, and Identity Pools in the US-EAST-1 Region. This was due to an issue with Kinesis Data Streams. We have implemented a mitigation to this issue. Cognito is now operating normally. Users should now be able to log into Sparkcentral as expected.
  • Time: Nov. 25, 2020, 10:49 p.m.
    Status: Monitoring
    Update: The AWS team reported that for Amazon Cognito, the issues affecting APIs, and authentication for user and identity pools has now recovered.  Users should now be seeing significant improvement when logging into the Sparkcentral platform. We will continue to monitor the status until final recovery is reported.
  • Time: Nov. 25, 2020, 8:31 p.m.
    Status: Identified
    Update: The AWS team has identified the root cause, and continues to work towards recovery of the issue affecting the Cognito User Pools, and Identity Pools operations in the US-EAST-1 Region. We are seeing some improvements where users are able to log in to the platform intermittently. We continue to monitor the status.

    Update: Amazon has reported that they identified that their Kinesis Data Streams API is causing the issue with their Cognito API service. They are currently still working towards a resolution of the problem. That status can be followed on https://status.aws.amazon.com/.

    Update: Facebook has an ongoing issue: inbounds with only attachments and no text are intermittently sent to us without attachment. Since this is a message without information, Sparkcentral will not surface it to agents. We’re investigating a workaround to reduce the impact until Facebook has a permanent fix.

    Update: Our WhatsApp provider reported that they received confirmation from the WhatsApp team that the issue is now resolved as of 4:40 PM EST.

    Update: Our WhatsApp provider is working closely with WhatsApp to resolve the issues impacting some customers being unable to send WhatsApp messages. We will provide more information as it becomes available.
