    Update: Facebook has resolved this issue. We'll continue to track the issue on Facebook's side and provide updates if there are any changes.

    Update: Facebook has assigned the issue and is working on a fix. Some users have reported that functionality has been restored. We're waiting for future updates from Facebook.

    Update: We are continuing to work on a fix for this issue.

    Update: There have been several reports from users that some of their Facebook pages do not appear inside the Switcher app when attempting to broadcast to Facebook or when adding a Facebook page as a Multistreaming destination. We have been able to reproduce this issue internally and it appears to be a Facebook Graph API bug that was introduced late Friday 2023-05-05. The issue had already been reported to Facebook by other developers, as this bug affects multiple applications, not just Switcher. If you have a Facebook developer account, you can follow the progress of the bug report here: https://developers.facebook.com/support/bugs/780004130341035 A temporary workaround is to use Custom RTMP when streaming to your Facebook page.     Update: This incident has been resolved.
  • Time: Feb. 15, 2023, 3:49 a.m.
    Status: Monitoring
    Update: The Multistreaming has been restored. A server update deployed earlier today caused an unexpected change to the way multistreaming configuration data was being sent to the Switcher app. The server was patched to address the issue.

    Update: A fix has been deployed, Multistreaming should be operational for all once again. We're monitoring the deployment to ensure everything is operational.

    Update: The issue has been identified and a fix is being deployed.

    Update: We are currently investigating an issue with Multistreaming. We will report back as soon as we have more information.

    Status: Resolved
    Update: The issue that caused the Switcher API outage has been resolved. An alteration to our database to improve performance caused the database to be unavailable for several minutes while the alternation took place. While the deployment was tested in development and staging environments, the production environment behaved differently, likely due to the load already in place. We have updated the code for our database alternations to keep the database online even during long-running operations.

    Update: A fix has been implemented and services should be restored. We're continuing to monitor services to ensure the fix has resolved the issue.

    Status: Resolved
    Update: The Switcher API and some services were unavailable from 3:39 pm EST to 3:48 pm EST on 2022-12-20. A server deployment caused the database to become unresponsive for 9 minutes. The issue has been resolved and services have been restored.

    Status: Resolved
    Update: A workaround has been deployed, you should now be able to schedule Facebook Live videos. Please note that uploading cover images for the scheduled videos is currently unavailable. This functionality will be restored in the near future.
  • Time: Sept. 21, 2022, 7:48 p.m.
    Status: Identified
    Update: Facebook made changes to its API which have caused requests to create scheduled live streams to fail. A bug report has been opened with Facebook, and workarounds are being investigated. Bug report may be found here: https://developers.facebook.com/support/bugs/482205940439277/

You may also create the live video post on Facebook.com and then stream using Custom RTMP.
