    Update: The DNS issue with Microsoft Azure has been resolved and all services have been restored as of 4/1 22:30 UTC. This outage affected many services including Bing, Xbox Live, Microsoft Office, and more. https://status.azure.com/en-us/status/history/

    Update: It appears that Microsoft Azure was experiencing DNS issues and recovery is in progress. Our servers appear to be operational again. We continue to monitor our servers and will report back as soon as Microsoft posts new updates. https://status.azure.com/en-us/status

    Update: Our server host, Microsoft Azure, is having sporadic connectivity issues. We're currently investigating the issue. https://twitter.com/AzureSupport/status/1377737333307437059

  • Time: Feb. 8, 2021, 2:52 p.m.
    Status: Resolved
    Update: This issue has been resolved. In order to mitigate future outages, we have doubled the number of servers at peak times to handle surges in traffic and to mitigate issues where one or more servers become unavailable.
  • Time: Feb. 7, 2021, 5:41 p.m.
    Status: Monitoring
    Update: One of our servers became unavailable for about 2 minutes from 11:28 AM EST to 11:30 AM EST. Network connectivity to the internet appeared to had been lost during this time. After connectivity was restored, some requests to the server may have experienced delays as the server fulfilled a backlog of requests. An additional server was added at around 11:50 AM EST to help compensate for the server that was backlogged. Services were fully restored at around 11:50 AM EST. All services appear to be back to normal. We'll be reaching out to our hosting provider to better understand why the sudden loss in network connectivity to one of our servers.

    Update: Facebook has resolved this issue as of 6:30 am EST. Services should be restored now. https://developers.facebook.com/support/bugs/448867966487671/
  • Time: Jan. 12, 2021, 5:10 a.m.
    Status: Identified
    Update: Some users may experience the error message "Please reduce the amount of data you're asking for, then retry your request" when attempting to create a new Facebook Live video post. This error message comes from Facebook and a bug report has already been filed with Facebook, with other apps/platforms also experiencing the issue. Link to bug report: https://developers.facebook.com/support/bugs/1578821952506512/ We will continue monitoring this issue and will update you as Facebook provides updates.

    Update: Google/YouTube engineering has confirmed this is an issue with the YouTube API. Their team has a fix in progress.
