Description: **Incident Summary** Between 6:55AM MT and 7:10AM MT, approximately 20% users on EU region encountered connection issues with the Chat API. **Root Causes** A single server in the EU region cluster started malfunctioning. Our auto-failover mechanism was not able to switch this server as the metrics being received were incomplete. This resulted in connection issues encountered during the incident. **Resolution** The malfunctioning server was terminated immediately. As soon as this server was terminated, additional servers were automatically created by our auto-scaling mechanism. **Corrective actions** The following corrective actions have been implemented: 1. Servers have been reconfigured to send additional metrics so that the auto-failover mechanism can accurately switch off any malfunctioning instances. 2. We continue to monitor the cluster metrics proactively at this time. Please feel free to contact us via your CometChat Dashboard if you need any further assistance.
