Description: **Executive summary:** Today we experienced an issue with SAML post-login calls. The issue started with a faulty DB migration deployment which was reverted and resolved 30 minutes later. **Details:** We have deployed a new version today which contains a selection of default roles for SAML tenant-based connection. The migration had some inconsistent DB schema and although it was running and tested smoothly on our dev and staging environments it failed on production. The error was not floating back as internal server errors on the surface which caused 504 gateway timeouts alerts. **Affect:** The incident impacted any customer with SAML based logins. **Mitigation and resolution:** As a prompt step, the deployment was reverted which eliminated the errors. **Preventive steps:** As preventive steps, we are adding additional automatic tests after deployment to production. In addition, we have added additional monitors on NGINX related errors that are not floating to the surface.
