    Update: A fix has been implemented and we are monitoring the results.

    Update: On April 25th, 2022 around 04:25 UTC, we identified an issue causing intermittent DNS resolution timeouts to be observed in queries and edge monitoring around the US-East region. Users experiencing issues are suggested to retry queries at this time. We are working to implement a correction as quickly as possible. Customers with questions are encouraged to reach out to our Product Support Team.

    Update: Starting around 04:45 UTC on Monday 25 April, Dyn Email customers may experience DNS resolution timeouts or errors reaching SMTP and/or API endpoints for Dyn Email. Our DNS provider is working on a resolution now involving adding more capacity; until then, a retry should work around the issue.

    Update: Starting around 04:45 UTC on Monday 25 April, Dyn Email customers may experience DNS resolution timeouts or errors reaching SMTP and/or API endpoints for Dyn Email. Our DNS provider is working on a resolution now involving adding more capacity; until then, a retry should work around the issue.

    Update: On April 24th, 2022, we discovered an issue causing some router update clients to incorrectly assign IP 138.1.120.207 to hostnames using Dyn's dynamic update service for Managed DNS, Remote Access and Standard DNS. This issue was resolved around 23:30 UTC. Hostnames retaining this IP should repair on next update. Customer with questions or concerns are encouraged to reach out to our Product Support Team.

    Update: This incident is now resolved. Any customers who failed to check-out are encouraged to retry their transactions at this time. Please reach out to our Support team if you have questions or concerns on transactions which processed during this event.

    Update: Emergency Maintenance Notice: the Self Service portal at https://account.dyn.com will be unavailable while we work to restore payment processing. No impact is expected to DNS resolution, or API/Updater changes. Updates to follow here as available.

    Status: Identified
    Update: Starting around 17:30 UTC on April 21st, 2022, customers attempting to check-out for Self-Service purchases or product trials at https://account.dyn.com began receiving 504 gateway timeout errors which are preventing purchase. Our engineer have identified the issues are currently working on a fix. We will update here as information is available. This issue does not impact our Enterprise (contract) customers. Customers with questions or concerns are encouraged to contact our Product Support Team.

    Update: This issue is now resolved. If any further DynID, Managed DNS, or Email Delivery portal issues are encountered we encourage you to clear your browser cache or try from a new browser/system. If this does not resolve the issue, please reach out to Technical Support.

    Update: Emergency Maintenance Notice: On April 21, 2022 between 18:00 to 19:00 UTC, the DynID login portal (including access to Managed DNS and Email Delivery portals) will be unavailable for approximately 30 minutes to resolve the ongoing intermittent logout issue. We apologize for the short notice and impact. No other impact is expected. Changes and reporting will remain available via API. Customers with questions are encourage to contact Technical Support.

    Update: The issue has been identified and a fix is being implemented.

    Update: Starting around 14:00 UTC on April 19th, 2022, we began investigating intermittent reports of customers being looped back to their DynID login when attempting to manage their accounts for both the Managed DNS and Email Delivery portals. Customers experiencing this issue are encouraged to clear their browser cache and retry, or use an alternate browser or system, as this has resolved the issue for most reporters. Updates to follow as available. Customer with concerns or questions are encouraged to reach out to our Technical Support Team.
