    Update: The availability issues affecting the uploading of new catalogs has been addressed. New catalogs can be uploaded. The FTP servers continue to be available on the following addresses: - fvip-usa1.slitm.net - ftp1.sli-systems.com - (alternatively) 54.162.18.223 If you experience delays on the processing of catalogs, please re-upload them. This will force the SLI platform to re-run the index building process, thus expediting processing. The Infrastructure team continues to monitor the health of the service.

    Update: Client feeds can not be sent to SLI via FTP due to the FTP server outage. Indexes for any client using this method will not be updated. SLI is working with the infrastructure provider to get this fixed.

    Update: We are continuing to monitor for any further issues.

    Status: Monitoring
    Update: It was identified that, as an index is built, transition of stages were not properly reported back to the Commerce Console and hence not reflected on the tool. As the search building capabilities becomes more stable, the Commerce Console is again able to properly reflect the progress. This issue continues to be monitored.

    Update: As a side effect of general stability issues with the index building capability, the SLI Commerce Console is not properly displaying the processing of indexes, nor the status of previous runs. This issue has been escalated internally and is being investigated by the Infrastructure and Engineering Teams.

    Status: Resolved
    Update: The index building functionality as been stable for over 36hrs, with processing times below 30 minutes (depending the size of the feed). Customers have not reported new occurrences. As such, this incident is marked as resolved. The Infrastructure Team remains monitoring the performance and L3 support remains on call.

    Update: The distribution of new indexes to the SearchClusters is back to normal. Performance issues do persist, impacting the time it takes to build new indexes.

    Update: A full maintenance of the underlying map-reduce cluster was conducted. Performance is once again back to normal levels and time-to-build indexes is back to what's expected. Nonetheless the overall functionality continues to be monitored.

    Update: SearchBuilder capabilities have been restored to normal. The Infrastructure Team continued to monitor all through the weekend. After no further incidents have been reported, this issue is deemed as resolved.

    Update: Issues persists with still generate delay on building new indexes. The Infrastructure Team has shutdown all systems not related to building indexes and isolated network traffic in order to identify bottlenecks and resource contemption.

    Update: A fix has been implemented and we are monitoring the results.

    Status: Identified
    Update: The root cause generating delays on the building of new indexes has been identified as being an inconsistency on the shared filesystem backing the process. The Infrastructure Team on duty is executing recovery processes to stabilize the filesystem. There is no risk of data loss since this filesystem only stores transient data used for building indexes.

    Update: Since noon UTC, it has been identified an amount of delay on the SLI SearchBuilder infrastructure. Several steps have been take to free up resources and streamline execution. At this time the Infrastructure Team continues to monitor performance and stability of the aforementioned infrastructure.
