    Update: All inbound and outbound traffic is confirmed to be performing as normal through monitoring. Cleo will provide an official RCA through the Services Update section in CIC within the next 5 business days.

    Update: Service has been restored and inbound and outbound communications are working as expected. Cleo engineers will continue to closely monitor CIC to ensure there is no recurrence of the previous condition.

    Update: Based on the previous change outbound delays are down to fifteen minutes. For inbound, approximately 75% of inbound connections continue to be impacted. However, based on best practices, trading partners would have attempted retries and those retries have a 25% chance of successful execution, meaning after roughly four retry attempts, inbound traffic will get through. Cleo engineers are continuing to make adjustments to facilitate the successful processing of the remaining traffic. We will continue to provide periodic updates.

    Update: CIC Engine is confirmed to be performing as normal through monitoring. All transactions are processing successfully and without delays. Cleo will provide an official RCA through the Services Update section in CIC within the next 5 business days.
  • Time: Sept. 10, 2024, 9:01 p.m.
    Status: Monitoring
    Update: Cleo Engineers were alerted by internal system monitoring to a condition that affected inbound connectivity for a subset of customers utilizing AS2, FTP, FTPs, SFTP, and, Partner Portal-based integrations. Approximately 25% of inbound connections into CIC between 14:48 CDT and 15:12 CDT were impacted. However, based on best practices, trading partners would have attempted retries and those retries had a 75% chance of successful execution. Cleo has pushed a fix and is continuing to monitor inbound connections. Note: Outbound connections continued to process successfully.

    Status: Resolved
    Update: Cleo Engineers have confirmed that CIC has not been affected by the CrowdStrike outage and continued to perform normally during their outage. The only impact has been CIC's inability to connect to certain FTP, FTPS, SFTP, AS2, and SMB endpoints of trading partners where those trading partner endpoints were impacted by the CrowdStrike outage.

    Update: After further investigation, Cleo Engineers have not found any evidence of direct impact to CIC of the world-wide CrowdStrike outage. As of right now, the only impact has been CIC's inability to connect to certain FTP, FTPS, SFTP, AS2, and SMB endpoints of trading partners where those trading partner endpoints were impacted by the CrowdStrike outage. Cleo Engineers are continuing to perform investigative forensics to ensure that CIC was not directly impacted.
