  • Time: Oct. 19, 2022, 3:38 p.m.
    Status: Resolved
    Update: This incident has now been resolved. Bookmarking should now work correctly for all releases. A full RCA will be available on request over the next few days. We apologise for any inconvenience caused in the meantime.
  • Time: Oct. 19, 2022, 2:20 p.m.
    Status: Investigating
    Update: Whilst we continue to investigate this issue, we have confirmed that this only affects the ability for new releases to accept bookmarking. Any existing releases should bookmark without issue, and once a new release is able to take bookmarking, then this should work as expected also. As such, we've reduced the scope of this incident to Minor, and continue to investigate the root cause of this delay. Once again, we apologise for any inconvenience caused.

    Update: We are currently experiencing temporary delays to bookmarking on the Elucidat platform. Whilst these delays are occurring, new releases may not start bookmarking for learners for some time. Once they do start allowing bookmarking, we will collect the information but the course may not be able to retrieve it. Once the delay has caught up, the learners' bookmarked progress will be restored. We’re looking into it as our highest priority and will publish updates as soon as we know more.     Status: Resolved
    Update: A fix has now been deployed for this issue. On further investigation, data was not collected only for releases that were released prior to 19th December 2020. This particular issue arose unexpectedly as part of a software release, and was ultimately of a limited scope. We are no longer seeing any errors. A full Root Cause Analysis will be available on request in due course. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

    Update: The fix for this issue has now been deployed successfully and no data has been lost. Any usage data that is still showing as out of date should display correctly tomorrow, as services run overnight.

    Update: We are continuing to test a fix for the production system, and will update as this progresses.

    Update: The fix for this issue is looking positive in our testing environments. We will continuing working on the resolution and will update as soon as there is more information available.
