Description: Earlier this evening, Eway identified an unexpected disruption to our Rapid API and manual payment services due to an issue with one of our upstream providers. The issue impacted gateway merchants that used a merchant facility operated by Westpac, St George, and Bank SA. All transactions attempted by merchants using the affected banking services during this time were unsuccessful. The incident started at approximately 19:45 AEST and ended at approximately 21:10 AEST. Eway monitoring systems indicate that performance has since returned to normal and payment processing via our partner gateway has been restored. UPDATE: A further incident was identified between 22:09 and 22:49 AEST. Transactions attempted during this window by merchants using the affected banking services were unsuccessful. Please note that this incident is unrelated to the upcoming schedule maintenance between 02:00 and 06:00 AEST on Sunday 7th August. The maintenance will continue as planned.
