    Update: Posted by Microsoft: Users' calls routed through Auto attendants and Call queues within Microsoft Teams may have failed. Any user who attempted to make calls routed through Auto attendants and Call queues within Microsoft Teams may have been impacted. Root cause - Auto attendant and Call queue call routed call requests were being routed to an unhealthy portion of service infrastructure, resulting in impact. Update - We've routed the affected call requests to a healthy portion of service infrastructure and confirmed through monitoring service telemetry that impact has been remediated.

    Update: Updated from Microsoft: We’ve applied a configuration update and our testing indicates that this action has successfully mitigated impact. However, affected users will need to take action to apply the changes we’ve made and remediate the problem: - Outlook client and app users should restart their client or app to apply our changes. Outlook desktop client users may need to perform this action twice due to caching issues. - Outlook on the web users should refresh their sessions. If that does not mitigate the issue, users are encouraged to clear their browser cache and refresh their Outlook on the web session.

    Update: Service Alert posted by Microsoft: Users may notice Outlook using an increased amount of system resources, causing the client to freeze or crash. Impact is predominately to the Outlook client, though users of any connection method including Outlook on the web and Outlook mobile apps may be affected. Our investigation is presently focused on an issue affecting a separate portion of our service infrastructure as the likely cause of impact. We’re working on a potential solution and are preparing to apply a targeted configuration update that we suspect will alleviate the impact.

    Update: All backlogs of emails have been delivered. We do apologize for any inconvenience.

    Update: A fix was put into place seems to have addressed the delays. No new emails should be delayed however the ones that were backlogged during the high severity issue are starting to process out to the intended recipient. We will keep this alert in monitoring and once all queues are cleared we will resolve. If you have current examples that are still delayed it is encouraged to contact support.

    Update: More servers were brought into the mix to handle all NEW email traffic. The servers having the issue have been removed from the pool of accepting new emails to allow them to process the email on them. Investigation continues to determine what caused the problem.

    Update: Good Morning, Our engineers have monitored the network and traffic throughout the night, and everything is stable. All queues cleared and message traffic was back to normal by 9:20pm CST.

    Update: The service is restored following the commercial vendor (Lumens) bringing the circuit up after completion of repairs at 20:07 Central Time. Portals have been verified to be accessible and mail queues are being consumed quickly.

    Update: The commercial vendor has updated our team that they are repairing the circuit. Our engineers are still working on the rerouting of traffic.

    Update: Our team has received an update from the commercial vendor and there is a fiber circuit cut in Alabama. The commercial vendor is giving a 2-hour ETA. Our engineers will continue the work on the reroute to hopefully restore the connection before the 2 hours.
