    Update: Arachnys is currently experiencing an issue that affects the ingestion of new data within the category of ‘Sanctions’. The issue is affecting the updating of Arachnys Curated Sanctions data. The last full update of Arachnys Curated Sanctions data was performed on Friday 16th April. We are currently investigating, and we are endeavouring to restore the full service as soon as possible. All other Sanctions sources, i.e. World Compliance, Accuity, TRMA, DJRC, are all operating normally. Further updates on our progress will be delivered at 18:00 GMT today.     Update: Arachnys has now restored all data sources to BAU status with regards to our recent issue with the ingestion of new data within the News and Sanctions categories. We will continue to perform additional coverage and data quality checks over the coming days. Users searching Arachnys Sanctions data sources may potentially see duplicate results for a few searches due to the conservative data-restoration approach we have taken. We are now marking this incident as resolved, and will no longer be providing regular updates. If you have any questions in the meantime, please contact us at [email protected].

    Update: Progress update regarding last week’s issue with the ingestion of new data within News and Sanctions categories, Arachnys is currently operating a BAU service for News and Structured Sanctions data. We are continuing with our data validation and coverage efforts for Unstructured Sanctions Data and will provide our next update later today at 17:00 (GMT).

    Update: Arachnys can confirm that a resolution has been put in place to address the issue impacting the ingestion of Arachnys Sanctions data. We are carefully monitoring data quality to ensure it meets our high standards. We will be completing several validation checks over the weekend to ensure data integrity and coverage is complete, after which we will be able to confirm that Sanctions data is once again live and up to date. We will provide our next update on this at 10:00 (GMT) 15 March 2021.

    Update: Arachnys are pleased to confirm all News sources have now been returned to BAU status with regards to our recent service incident. We continue to make good progress working through some outstanding issues with Sanctions sources, and we will update in due course on further developments.     Update: Arachnys can confirm that our News collection is now successfully restored, and data should once again be up to date. Progress is also being made with Sanctions, and we expect all Sanctions data (including WorldCompliance) to be up to date and operational by the beginning of our next working day 12th March (GMT). We have a number of further checks that we will complete in due course to ensure that the integrity and coverage of all data are maintained. We will provide our next update here tomorrow at 10:00 (GMT).

    Update: Arachnys’ current best estimate for data coverage restoration for both News and Sanctions is that this data will be up-to-date at the start of the business day (9 am GMT) 12th March 2021. This is highly dependent on the successful completion of Arachnys testing and data integrity checks which are ongoing. We will provide a further update at 17:00 (GMT) today.

Our disaster recovery plan has been enacted with respect to these services, and we are endeavouring to restore the full service as soon as possible. While we are resolving the issue, your ability to search historical data from these sources will not be affected, meaning end-users should not experience any changes to the usual service and will still be able to find results published before 2 am (GMT) on 10 March 2021. However, please be aware that any new data published on or after 2 am (GMT) on 10 March 2021 will not be visible until the service is restored. We appreciate your understanding and patience while we work to resolve this. We will post further updates on our progress at 18:00 GMT today.
