    Update: This incident has been resolved.
  • Time: Aug. 14, 2023, 3:35 p.m.
    Status: Monitoring
    Update: As part of the post-Microsoft Azure fix, per Azure you will need to work with your Azure team to perform a one-time re-export of your July data. Per Azure, you should follow the steps below, repeating them twice: once for Actuals and once for Amortized. Steps to generate the file 1. Log in to the Azure Portal and navigate to Cost Management + Billing. 2. Go to Settings > Exports. 3. Add a new export entry. Provide the export details: Select Export Type as "One-Time Export," and set the date range from Jul 2023 to Jul 31, 2023. 4. Utilize the existing storage to store the files. 5. Once the details are filled, click "Create" (you can choose any filename, ensuring it's unique to avoid the error message "Export creation failed. E tag value required for the update operation of the report"). 6. The export entry will be visible now. Choose the export and click "Run Now." The export creation process might take around 1 hour. 7. Download the exported file from the newly created export directory and upload it to the directory authorized with Cloudability. Once the files are in place, the regular Cloudability processes will automatically incorporate this data within 1-2 days (as it pertains to the previous month).

    Update: Microsoft has confirmed this issue has been mitigated on their side and has requested that those impacted, please perform a fresh export of your July data. Once completed, Apptio Cloudability standard jobs will pick up this new data and process it per the BAU process. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to contact us at support.apptio.com.
