Description: On Wednesday, July 5, 2023, between 3pm PDT/6pm EDT and 5pm PDT/8pm EDT, customers using GoGuardian Admin/DNS for filtering may have experienced unintended blocked browsing activity. Domains and subdomains may have been blocked during this time when they should not have been. We apologize for any trouble caused by this issue. Description: Google was accidentally categorized earlier today as adware starting 3:44 EDT resolved at 4:20 EDT (12:44PDT 1:20 PDT). This would have caused google.com as well as many other subdomains of google.com to be blocked for students and staff filtered by GoGuardian. The change was reverted and the issue should now be resolved. We apologize for the confusion this undoubtedly has been causing. If students are still affected, please have them enter chrome://restart in their Chrome browser force an update, and get things back up and running.

Description: After monitoring the situation closely for 24 hours we have not seen any continued degraded performance. We will continue to investigate and implement fixes as needed, but in the meantime the issue is resolved. We apologize for any trouble caused by this issue.

Description: We've identified and resolved some degraded performance within our GoGuardian Admin Smart Alert prediction models from 10:08 to 10:40AM EDT (7:08 AM to 7:40 AM PDT). Some alerts may have failed to generate around this time. We apologize for any difficulties or inconvenience.

Description: The issue causing students to appear as offline has been resolved. In our investigation, there was an issue with a third-party provider's underlying service. We were able to reach out to this provider to troubleshoot and resolve the issue. Thanks so much for your patience while we worked on a resolution.
