    Update: Our team has noticed an increase in Database connection errors in the London, England region. We are actively investigating the issue.

  • Time: Oct. 27, 2020, 3:46 p.m.
    Status: Postmortem
    Update: On October 26th between 10:00 and 14:30 CEST the LCS Platform experienced unexpected network errors and slow restart times. The network errors led to servers disconnecting from the LCS Platform, and displaying a warning to admin users. Once the network issues were addressed, servers began reconnecting and warning messages were no longer shown to admin users. By the end of the incident, functionality has been fully restored.  After analyzing the incident, we found that we need to expand monitoring to detect earlier these types of issues, that are not yet covered by existing tools. To that end, the LCS team will create additional, custom monitoring methods, to better detect malfunctions such as this one.

    Update: The Liferay Connected Services Platform is currently experiencing major issues that are being investigated. Existing customer servers will continue to be operational, within the connection grace period. Customers that need to activate new servers are advised to contact Liferay Support through Liferay Help Center at help.liferay.com

    Update: This incident has been resolved.
  • Time: Oct. 1, 2020, 3:31 p.m.
    Status: Monitoring
    Update: The certificate has propagated successfully and the build issue should be resolved. We will continue to monitor the issue to confirm the issue does not recur in the next 15 minutes.

    Status: Identified
    Update: The certificate has been updated within the system, and we are waiting for the load balancer to sync.

    Status: Identified
    Update: Due to a certificate error, the CLI update method is failing. This method is used during the build phase on the CI and will cause most builds to fail. Our team has identified the issue and are working on a fix.

    Update: We discovered what seems to be a regression in our release earlier today. We are beginning a rollback to restore API and Console to a healthy state and will continue monitoring.

    Update: We noticed instability on our Console and API causing intermittent outages. Our team of engineers are actively looking at it and will provide updates when we have more information.
