Update: We have confirmed Twitter's API has been fully resolved and we are running a backfill to address errant data that has been ingested and processed. The backfill process is expected to complete in ~ 1 week.

Update: We have identified an issue with Twitter Video Views displaying as zero on some content. The issue stems from an upstream issue in Twitter's Engagement API. We've escalated this to Twitter engineering team and are working with them to resolve quickly. We are also exploring workarounds on our end to deal with this. Twitter Public Video Views are not impacted. This issue is isolated to authorized Twitter Video Views. We anticipate being able to backfill when service is restored upstream.

Update: We've put in place numerous workarounds around the Twitter challenges to make the user experience a lot more seamless when searching for tweets. Searching appears to be in a much better place now and going to consider the current issue resolved.

Update: With all the fast changes at Twitter, we know it’s provided our users with some frustrating situations. To workaround those challenges, we developed a way of returning your Twitter analysis on the Listening > Conversation feature faster by making use of the new “Public Impressions” metric and analysis optional. - For those scenarios where mention counts and tweets are the priority, simply leave “Include Public Impressions” unchecked. This will result in leveraging “Estimated Impressions” to project Impressions count. - For scenarios where getting the most accurate Impressions count is the priority, ensure to check “Include Public Impressions” As we see the data source that powers “Public Impressions” mature a bit more, we may automatically include it. However for now, it’s a great way to get you to your analysis quicker.

Update: We are observing increased error rates again directly from Twitter when users search for tweets using the Listening > Conversation feature. We have contacted Twitter and they are aware of the issue. Awaiting direction and timing for fix, which then we will provide further updates. We have found early success working around this issue by: A) retrying the same query B) lowering the amount of tweets to return C) modifying the query slightly We know this isn't ideal, and can assure that this continues to be escalated at twitter. This issue is not specific to ListenFirst and impacts the larger ecosystem leveraging this data source.
