    Update: A fix has been implemented and engineering is currently monitoring issue

    Update: On September 26th at 7:12 A.M. (PST) Our engineers have identified the issue causing database interruptions and are working toward a fix. Currently, several API's including mail send are affected. We will provide another update in hour or as soon as more information becomes available.

  • Time: Sept. 23, 2024, 9:30 p.m.
    Status: Resolved
    Update: Our engineers have investigated and resolved an issue with Email Address Change Notifications not sending. This issue only affected accounts not Unified with Twilio. From Sept 19th at 1:24PM PT to Sept 23rd at 12:10PM PT, customers leveraging non-Unified accounts may not have received email address change verification emails. Any requested email changes made by these accounts during this window would need to be re-triggered on the user end. The issue has been resolved, and all impacted services are operating normally.

  • Time: Sept. 18, 2024, 7:30 p.m.
    Status: Resolved
    Update: Our engineers have investigated and resolved an issue preventing access to the SendGrid UI. From 10:45 AM PST to 11:50 AM PST customers accessing the legacy SendGrid UI may not have been able to log into their consoles as 2FA verification codes via SMS or Authy app were not recognized. Unified accounts were not affected by the situation. The issue has been resolved and all impacted services are operating normally.

  • Time: Sept. 18, 2024, 11:03 p.m.
    Status: Resolved
    Update: Our engineers have monitored the fix and confirmed the issue with Domain authentication has been resolved. All services are now operating normally at this time.
  • Time: Sept. 18, 2024, 7:49 p.m.
    Status: Monitoring
    Update: A fix has been implemented by the third party provider. We are currently monitoring our system while the provider processes the authentication requests submitted earlier. It will take a few hours for all pending requests to be processed. We will provide another update in two hours or as soon as more information becomes available.
  • Time: Sept. 18, 2024, 5:50 p.m.
    Status: Identified
    Update: Starting around 10:07 AM PDT on Wednesday, 09/18/2024, our Engineers identified an issue impacting new domain authentications. Due to a third-party provider, customers won't be able to authenticate new domains despite the DNS records being correctly added on their side, and won't be able to send emails on behalf of those domains until the authentication is complete. This issue doesn't affect the domains that have been authenticated and therefore, it doesn't impact email sending for them. We will provide another update in one hour or as soon as more information becomes available.

    Status: Resolved
    Update: Our engineers have monitored the fix and confirmed the issue with mail delivery delays has been resolved. All services are now operating normally at this time, so we'll close this incident to Resolved. Thank you for your understanding.
  • Time: Sept. 10, 2024, 2 p.m.
    Status: Monitoring
    Update: Our engineers have implemented a fix and are monitoring system performance, we are seeing an improved performance overall and all messages are now being delivered without any delay. We will provide another update within the next minutes once we can confirm the issue has been resolved correctly.
  • Time: Sept. 10, 2024, 12:57 p.m.
    Status: Identified
    Update: Our engineers have identified the root cause of the issue and continue testing possible fixes. At this time, customers could have experienced delays in Asia Pacific mail send requests from 1:24 am PT to 2:06am. New traffic continues to be swung away from Asia Pacific, and we do not expect delays to new mail sends after 2:06am PT. The stuck mails were all delivered by 6:12am PDT. Additionally, we identified another impact for degraded mail send API availability from 1:24am PDT to 2:52am PDT. It's mitigated by further swinging traffic away from Oceania at 2:48am PDT We will provide another update within an hour or as soon as more information becomes available.

    Status: Investigating
    Update: Our engineering team have identified mail delivery delays occurring in the Asia Pacific region. We are actively working to resolve. As a result, these emails may experience extended delivery times. We will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates as we work to clear the backlog.
