    Update: On April 10, 2023 at 4:00pm PST, we will be deploying Kubernetes to the Shipwire BETA environment. Implementing this will require no downtime of our BETA environment and will not change your experience within the Shipwire BETA UI, API, etc. What is Kubernetes:  Kubernetes is a container orchestration platform that automates the deployment, scaling, and management of containerized applications. In simple terms, it helps manage the resources and processes that make up Shipwire. What will it do for Shipwire: By implementing Kubernetes into Shipwire BETA, Shipwire BETA will benefit from its powerful features such as automatic scaling, load balancing, and self-healing. This means that if there is a spike in traffic for Shipwire, Kubernetes can automatically allocate more resources to handle the increased demand. It can also distribute traffic across multiple instances of Shipwire to ensure that everything runs smoothly. Overall, implementing Kubernetes into Shipwire BETA will bring significant improvements to the performance, scalability, and manageability of it. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.     Status: Resolved
    Update: This issue was fixed this morning around 3 AM PT, and is operating as expected. If you have set up Shopify to notify customers of their shipments, they will start sending again for Shopify orders imported to Shipwire after 3 AM PT. Orders that were imported before that will not have emails sent to customers, as we did not capture the notification preference upon import prior to fixing this issue.   • Time: March 28, 2023, 3:42 a.m.
    Status: Investigating
    Update: We recently learned that some of our customers, who use our Shipwire integration with Shopify, are experiencing an issue where some of their end customers are not receiving tracking emails pertaining to fulfillment orders recently shipped from one of our facilities. This is due to a recent change to the Shopify storefront setting specifying whether to send an email notification; with tracking details, to the end customer when a Shopify fulfillment has been completed. By default, this setting is now automatically set to no email to be sent. For those impacted, this means that all orders imported after your store was migrated and then shipped, would not have had those Shopify tracking emails sent to the end customer by Shopify. Tracking information is being sent from Shipwire to Shopify and is accessible within Shopify store dashboard as well as within the Shipwire platform order management dashboard. We are developing a work around to trigger Shopify to send out the notifications when an order has been shipped and will provide updates as they arise. In the short term, you may wish to let your customer care team know about this so that when your customer’s contact you about their shipments, your customer care team can quickly reassure them and retrieve the tracking details from within Shopify or Shipwire.
