    Update: The Algolia outage appears to be resolved, so this should not be an issue anymore. If you experience any errors while attempting a build in Frontend, please contact Frontend Support.
  • Time: March 2, 2023, 4:34 p.m.
    Status: Investigating
    Update: Due to an outage with our third party search provider, Algolia, we are experiencing intermittent build errors due to missing search indexes that prevent builds and publishes. The team are monitoring the situation. If you experience a build error, please wait 10-20 minutes and then attempt the build again.     Update: This incident has been resolved.

    Update: We have identified and resolved the issues that users were experiencing. We will continue to monitor for any further issues. Users should be able to access the Page Builder app again.     Status: Investigating
    Update: We are aware of an issue affecting the app's availability, leading to errors relating to token authentication, and issues loading pages in the app. Our team are actively looking into this and restoring access to the app as soon as possible.

  • Time: Dec. 16, 2022, 11:48 a.m.
    Status: Postmortem
    Update: On December 15th at 5:52 PM EST, Shogun received a report from a customer indicating issues updating quantities within shopping carts. The Shogun Engineering team immediately began responding to the issue and began assessing the root cause. Upon further investigation, the team noticed an API call to the Shopify platform was throwing an error once a shopping cart had an item added to it. This error prevented further modifications to the shopping cart itself, including adding additional items, adjusting quantities, and removing items from the cart. This issue was widespread and affected multiple sites hosted on Frontend. Shogun contacted Shopify support to make them aware of the issue and immediately began working on a workaround to the problem. At 9:43 PM EST Shogun’s Engineering team completed the necessary updates to work around the problematic Shopify API. Shogun is continuing to work with Shopify on a full resolution to the issue. We have contacted all stores that we have identified to have been impacted. We apologize for any inconvenience this issue may have caused.

    Status: Resolved
    Update: This issue has now been resolved and a fix has been implemented. We continue to work together with Shopify on a long-term solution, however, customer checkout is no longer affected. Clients that were affected by the change will receive an email with further information relating to the fix provided.

    Update: This issue has now been resolved and a fix has been implemented. We continue to work together with Shopify on a long-term solution, however, customer checkout is no longer affected. Clients that were affected by the change will receive an email with further information relating to the fix provided.

    Update: Shopify report all systems operational, so this issue should no longer occur. We will continue to monitor the situation for the rest of the day.

    Status: Investigating
    Update: Shopify is reporting issues with their checkout systems which may negatively affect the ability for customers on FE sites linked to Shopify to checkout. The issue appears to be intermittent and attempts made a few minutes after a failed checkout will often succeed. We will continue to monitor the situation, and full details on Shopify's status can be found at https://www.shopifystatus.com/
