    Update: We are aware of an issue with SSL connect service which is affecting multiple customers. Our Engineers are actively investigating on this issue.

    Status: Resolved
    Update: Connectivity at the majority of sites has now restored. We are making contact with any remaining sites and will work with them directly to troubleshoot and resolve any remaining issues.

    Status: Identified
    Update: We are continuing to work with our Telco partners regarding ongoing outages and connectivity issues affecting a number of sites following the storms on Friday. We will aim to contact affected sites directly.

    Status: Identified
    Update: Telco vendor is actively working on the issue and we are coordinating with them to resolve it at the earliest .The outages is declared by Telco as a Matter Beyond Our Reasonable Control (MBORC) due to storm hitting Southern England on Friday. Further updates will be provided in due course.

    Status: Identified
    Update: Telco providers has updated that multiple sites are down across the country because of the storm conditions yesterday. We are actively coordinating with the service provider to restore connectivity to the affected sites, however the outages have been declared by Telco as a Matter Beyond Our Reasonable Control (MBORC) due to storm hitting Southern England. Further updates will be provided in due course.
  • Time: Feb. 18, 2022, 4:36 p.m.
    Status: Identified
    Update: We are actively coordinating with the service provider to restore connectivity to the affected sites. Our Telco providers mentioned that the outages have been declared a Matter Beyond Our Reasonable Control (MBORC) incident due to the storm currently hitting Southern England. Further updates will be provided in due course
  • Time: Feb. 18, 2022, 11:49 a.m.
    Status: Identified
    Update: We are seeing a number of outages related to the current storms within the UK, particularly in the South West region. We are working with Telco providers to understand the severity. Further updates will be provided in due course.

    Status: Resolved
    Update: We have and continue to investigate the issues raised regarding VPN bypass. Due to the dynamic nature of the issue, we are currently unable to provide a resolution. We will continue to monitor this internally and with our third parties. The solution to this issue for now is a best practice guide that needs to be followed by each customer. The guide is available on SafetyNet help under the section 'VPN Applications'. As such we are closing this incident.
  • Time: Feb. 7, 2022, 9:41 a.m.
    Status: Investigating
    Update: We have reviewed specific VPNs that were reported by customers and blocked them on SafetyNet. Our Development team is working on a comprehensive review of VPN accessibility and will release a help article to guide customers to tackle similar issues. We will update the progress by next week beginning.
  • Time: Jan. 27, 2022, 3:06 p.m.
    Status: Investigating
    Update: A number of IOS/Android VPN applications on the Apple/Google Play stores allow users with rights to buy and install these applications, to bypass web filtering systems. Whilst we are investigating ways to prevent these from functioning, to mitigate this risk we strongly advise administrators to ensure that students are not able to install VPN applications on school managed devices, and to consider the potential implications or risks that this may have on your establishments unmanaged or BYOD devices.
