    Update: As per confirmation from Verizon Network about resolution of the problem on their platform, we can confirm stability in SMS services. We can confirm that this incident has been resolved

    Update: Verizon Network has confirmed recovery on their services. We continue to monitor the situation with no major impact on Twilio's Services due to this particular issue. Our engineers are working with Verizon Network to follow up with a resolution for this issue. We will provide another update in 2 hours or as soon as more information becomes available.

We can confirm that currently we have not identified a major impact for Twilio’s customers, although customers may experience issues with their overall Verizon messaging and voice services.     Update: Further investigation has identified that this incident is impacting all messages sent to the Evolve Cellular network in the US causing rejections on SMS submissions. The problem is related to the Evolve Cellular Network Operator’s platform, where on August 16th, 2024, a network change impacted the A2P (Application-to-Person) messaging service. The Evolve Cellular Network Operator is actively working to resolve the problem. They expect a service interruption between 1 to 3 months. We are in constant communication with the Evolve Cellular Network Operator for additional updates as they occur. This post will be removed on 9-13-24, and we will distribute new communications when Evolve's services are successfully restored. Thank you for your understanding in this matter. The cause of the incident is a limitation with our Service Provider’s platform in processing the delivery reports back to us. In order to resolve this issue, we are currently working with another Service Provider to provide the required DLR functionality. We are in constant communication with the alternate Service Provider for additional updates as they occur. This post will be removed on 9-18-24, and we will distribute new communications when a solution for the Dish Delivery Reports (DLR) has occurred . Thank you for your understanding in this matter.
