    Status: Resolved
    Update: At 20:15 UTC, a configuration change was accidentally applied to a production server that caused Ryver clients to believe a new version had been installed and attempt a refresh to get that new version. In actuality, there was no new version applied, so this was a false alarm. If you were seeing a red warning that there is a new version available, that should have stopped. Please let us know if you see any lingering issues or upgrade messages. We apologize for the inconvenience, and are taking steps to further isolate production from this type of accidental update.

    Update: This incident has been resolved.

    Update: The period of heavy load has subsided. We are investigating the source.

    Status: Investigating
    Update: Some users are reporting Gateway timeout messages while trying to log in, or perform certain activities in the Ryver client. We are investigating a heavier than normal server load and looking for a root cause. The issue seems to be intermittent and is not impacting all users.

    Update: The issue has been identified and a fix is being implemented.

    Update: We are investigating an issue with connectivity issues and server load.

    Update: There was a 16 minute period where one of the web servers in our cluster was raising errors if you happened to hit that server. We did a reset and the errors have cleared. We will continue to monitor.

    Update: After the two initial spikes that occurred, 30 minutes apart, there have not been any more issues. We did find a potential cause and will be doing some testing for a chat server update in the near future.

    Status: Investigating
    Update: We are continuing to see spikes on our servers and are investigating the cause.
  • Time: March 13, 2018, 8:27 p.m.
    Status: Investigating
    Update: It looks like a forced reboot of one of the chat servers caused a brief spike in network requests, causing some users to get 502 gateway errors. We are investigating to see if there are any deeper issues.
